Affiliate Disclosure
Munvin believes in complete transparency about how we operate and generate revenue. This page explains our affiliate relationships and how they relate to our editorial content.
The Short Version
Some links on our Sites are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. These commissions help us keep our Sites free and allow us to invest in quality research. Our editorial opinions are not for sale.
What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a special URL that contains a tracking code. When you click an affiliate link and subsequently make a purchase or sign up for a service, the merchant's system records that you came from our Site and pays us a small commission on that transaction. The price you pay is unaffected — you pay exactly the same whether or not you arrived via our link.
FTC Compliance
In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255), we disclose any material connection between Munvin and the products or services we discuss. This includes affiliate commissions, sponsored content, and any other form of compensation received in connection with our content.
This disclosure applies to all Munvin websites, including all subdomains. Where affiliate links appear in content, they will be identified at the beginning of the relevant article or section.
Our Editorial Standards
Affiliate compensation does not influence which products we cover, how we rank them, or the conclusions we reach. Specifically:
- We never recommend a product solely because of the commission it pays.
- We include products in comparisons and rankings based on their merits, not their affiliate availability.
- If a product we recommend does not have an affiliate programme, we include it anyway.
- Negative findings in our research are published regardless of affiliate relationships.
- We do not accept payment for positive reviews or specific rankings.
Types of Commercial Relationships
Affiliate commissions
We participate in affiliate programmes run by merchants and networks. When you click a qualifying link and complete a purchase, we receive a commission. This is the primary way we generate revenue from our content sites.
Sponsored content
On occasion, we may publish content that has been sponsored by a brand. Any sponsored content will be clearly labelled as "Sponsored," "Paid partnership," or similar at the top of the page. Sponsored content is always written to our editorial standards — sponsors may not dictate conclusions or suppress negative findings.
Direct advertising
Our Sites may display third-party advertising. Advertisements are clearly separated from editorial content and do not influence our editorial decisions.
Amazon Associates
Munvin participates in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon. Where links to Amazon appear, we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases.
Other Affiliate Networks
We participate in various other affiliate programmes depending on the product vertical. Specific disclosures are included on each relevant page or at the top of content where affiliate links are present.
Identifying Affiliate Links
We aim to make it easy to identify affiliate links on our Sites. Look for:
- A disclosure notice at the top of articles that contain affiliate links
- Language such as "affiliate link," "we may earn a commission," or "paid link" near relevant links
- This Affiliate Disclosure, linked in the footer of every page
Your Trust Matters to Us
We understand that trust is earned over time and easily lost. We take our obligation to be transparent seriously. If you ever have a question about a specific piece of content — whether we have a commercial relationship with a product we reviewed, or why we ranked something the way we did — please ask us. We'll tell you.

Changes to This Disclosure
We may update this Affiliate Disclosure from time to time to reflect changes in our commercial relationships or applicable regulations. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
